For I Love to Read Month, all of the classes in our school are decorating their classroom doors as the cover of their favourite book. In our class we had a vote to decide on our favourite story. We chose "We Are In A Book" by Mo Willems. It is a really funny book and we would recommend it to others. Mo Willems is one of our favourite authors.

Snowmen at Night
Mrs. Muir read us the story Snowmen at Night. We talked about what we would do if we were snowmen at night. First we wrote a rough copy and then we typed our idea on the computer. To make our artwork, we first drew the outline of our picture in pencil. Next, we ripped up little pieces of paper and glued them down in the shape of snowmen. Some people used different colours

Muffin Makers
To make the muffins, we first had to mash the bananas and beat the eggs. Next, we sifted the flour and added sugar and baking soda. We then got to add chocolate chips and mix it all together. We used a spoon to drop the batter into the muffin tins. We all walked the muffins down to the kitchen and baked them for 10 minutes.
After recess, we all got to eat one...they were SPECTACULAR!

Baby Cally
On November 26th, we met Baby Cally. She comes to our classroom for Roots of Empathy. In Roots of Empathy, we learn about taking care of babies and feelings.
Baby Cally is two months old. We sang the welcome and goodbye song to her. Cally is a sunrise baby. That means she is very happy and smiles a lot.
Cally is very cute and we had fun meeting her!
We measured how tall Cally is. |

This is Mission Impossible!
In our gym classes this week, we are doing Mission Impossible. Mission Impossible is a giant obstacle course where we are secret agents going through the course. It is very hard for most students! There are different parts in the obstacle course. Our favourites are the junkyard, beam, sloth bar, snake pit, spider web, chicken coop and where we have to go through the balloons and penguins.
Thank you Mrs. Lamoureux and Mrs. Barnes for building Mission Impossible for us!
Thank you for reading!
